Courtney Robbins, MD, FAAD

Dr. Courtney Robbins is a native of Mississippi where she attended and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, where she graduated first in her class. After completing an internship in Internal Medicine at Baptist Health System in Birmingham, she went on to complete her dermatology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During this time she participated as co-investigator in numerous clinical trials in various dermatologic disorders including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, acne, actinic keratoses, and fungal infections of the skin and nails. She is a board certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. In addition, she is an active member of the Alabama Dermatology Society, Women's Dermatologic Society and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Robbins specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with special interests in psoriasis, acne, skin cancer prevention, and pediatric dermatology.

Dr. Robbins and her husband, Dr. Leff Robbins, have two wonderful children Owen and Noah. She enjoys traveling, playing piano, attending theater and symphony productions, and spending time with family and friends in her spare time. She is an active member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.

Gail S. Westhoven, MD, FAAD

Dr. Gail Westhoven is a Birmingham native and has spent most of her life in the area. After graduating from Vestavia Hills High School, she attended Auburn University, earning a bachelor of science, summa cum laude. She then moved to Columbia, South Carolina where she completed her medical degree with honor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. After an internal medicine internship at Richland Memorial Hospital, she attended residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. In 1999, she returned to Birmingham where she joined Dr. Larry Sampson in his longstanding practice, Associated Dermatologists.

Dr. Westhoven is married to her husband David of 21 years. He is the CFO of the practice. She has three wonderful school age daughters. She enjoys travel, reading, and spending time with her family. She is an active member of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church.

Dr. Westhoven is a board certified dermatologist, completing her certification in 1999 and recertification in 2009. She is the 2012 president of the Alabama Dermatology Society and in recent years has served as both their secretary and vice president. She is a member of the American Association of Dermatology, the Jefferson County Medical Society, and is on active staff at St. Vincent's East Hospital.

Jaime Dunn, P.A. -C

Jaime Dunn joined Associated Dermatologists in January 2016, where she will continue to serve the Birmingham area. Jaime graduated from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She continued her education in Atlanta, Georgia at Mercer University where she became a Certified Physician Assistant and received her Master of Medical Science degree. Jaime is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), Alabama Society of Physician Assistants (ASPA), as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).

Jaime's passion for medical dermatology grew in graduate school, which soon became a lifelong dedication. Originally from Alabama, Jaime chose to return to Birmingham to be close to family and to receive specialized training in Dermatology. As a Certified Physician Assistant, Jaime can provide a broad scope of dermatological services. She examines, diagnoses, treats, and prescribes appropriate medications for patients of all ages. Jaime enjoys teaching her patients how to achieve and maintain healthy skin, as well as helping patients feel and look their best. Jaime is overjoyed to be joining Associated Dermatologists, where she can continue to give back to the people of Birmingham.

Jaime is married to her husband Wesley and has a shih-tzu named Snuggles. She enjoys baking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends She is also an active member of All Saints' Episcopal Church in Homewood, as well as a member of the Junior League of Birmingham.
